Road closed due to 'suspected gas leak' as drivers urged to avoid area

A ROAD has been closed in both directions following a “suspect gas leak” in Fife.

Police closed Admiralty Road between Limekilns and Rosyth in Fife at around 10.14am on Friday following the incident being reported.

Drivers have been urged to avoid the area by Police Scotland.

A spokesperson for the force said: “The A985 Admiralty Road between Limekilns and Rosyth is currently closed after a report of a suspected gas leak.

“Drivers are asked to avoid the area and consider another route.

“Follow SGN and Traffic Scotland for further updates.”
