Emergency services were called out to the North East coast this evening to a road incident.
This picture shows a section of Percy Park in Tynemouth, just off the Grand Parade and Longsands Beach and was taken at 6.44pm.
A passerby said he saw two fire engines, two police cars, an unmarked vehicle with blue lights and a white car in the road.

The road was reportedly blocked by a police van.
Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that their attendance was requested by NEAS to assist an elderly gentleman from a vehicle.
Northumbria Police and the North East Ambulance Service were contacted for comment.
