A residential road was closed and traffic was diverted after a crash this afternoon.
Police were called to reports of a crash on Arncliffe Road in Halewood at around 12.20pm today (Friday). The crash involved a van and a blue Honda Jazz which had to be removed from the area.
Arriva North West said its buses were being diverted following the crash this afternoon. They tweeted: "Due to an RTC on Arncliffe Road, services 3 and 3a are currently using Mackets Lane in both directions."

Merseyside Police said the road was blocked while both vehicles were removed from the area.
No injuries were reported, police said.
