A road in Manchester city centre was blocked off on Monday afternoon (May 22) after a car was left crushed in a smash.
Police attended the scene at the Great Bridgewater Street and Albion Street junction after the two-car crash, with the busy road blocked off for a short while.
Pictures from the scene show a black Skoda with a badly damaged bonnet as officers remained stationed at the scene. Cars and buses were diverted away from the area after the collision.

Greater Manchester Police confirmed that there were no injuries reported in the collision and that no arrests were made.
Stagecoach tweeted: "Diversion heading towards Manchester Whitworth Street West, Oxford Street and Portland Street. This is due to a police incident on Great Bridgewater Street/Albion Street junction. Stops on Great Bridgewater Street will not be served."
