A road was blocked this morning after a crash involving a bus and a lorry.
Emergency services were called to reports of a crash at the junction of Mill Lane and New Street, in St Helens, at around 7.45am.
Images from the scene, taken on Wednesday, March 9, show the 32 Arriva bus had crashed front first into the side of a HGV.

The front window of the bus was damaged and windows appeared to be smashed.
The road was partially blocked while the bus and the lorry were recovered from the scene of the crash.
Police at the scene, assisting with traffic management, confirmed that no injuries were reported.
It is not known if the bus was carrying any passengers at the time of the crash.
Arriva said their driver was assisting police.
A spokesperson for Arriva said: "I can confirm we are aware of the incident that occurred at approximately 9am on our service 32 at Mill Lane in St Helens.
"We are currently assisting the police to investigate the cause of the collision, we can confirm no injuries have been reported and the bus has been recovered from the scene."
