Riyad Mahrez has promised to up his game in the second half of the season after enduring an inconsistent few months for Manchester City.
Mahrez has been a key player for City in recent seasons, and was the Blues' top scorer in all competitions last term with 24 goals in all competitions. However, this season the 31-year-old winger has struggled for regular minutes and consistent performances, with Pep Guardiola often favouring Phil Foden, Jack Grealish and Bernardo Silva in wide roles.
Mahrez is confident that he can rediscover his best form in the second half of the season, even if he has contributed more this campaign than some have given him credit for.

Meanwhile, Rico Lewis has named Manchester City stars Phil Foden and Cole Palmer as inspirations for him as he enjoys an impressive breakthrough season with the Blues.
Lewis has impressed for City's EDS in the last couple of years and his performances for them caught the eye of Pep Guardiola. The 18-year-old has been in and around the first-team squad throughout the campaign and on his first start in the Champions League last month he scored in a 3-1 victory over Sevilla.
Currently out in Abu Dhabi during the World Cup break, Lewis was asked by City's official website about breaking into the squad and he would go on to name his inspirations. "I saw them [Foden and Palmer] come through when I was younger," he explained.
