River Island shoppers were keen to snap up a "gorgeous" abstract midi dress after spotting it online.
The high street favourite has built a loyal following thanks to its wide range of on-trend clothing, shoes, accessories and more. Like its competitors, River Island optimises social media to keep shoppers updated on all its newest stock and product launches.
With the colder weather rearing its head, many shoppers are slowly transitioning their wardrobes to autumnal colour schemes. The beloved retailer caused a stir after sharing a photo of its Red Satin Abstract Print Midi Swing Dress on Instagram.

Despite its vibrant rainbow-inspired print, the versatile dress can easily be worn all year round. The dress, which costs £55, comes in sizes six to 18 and features a bright abstract print on a satin fabric.

To its 2.4 million Instagram followers, River Island shared an image of the dress hanging on a white coat-hanger in front of a neutral background. Captioning the image, the company simply penned: "Wear the rainbow."
River Island keeps its like count hidden on Instagram, but the post still racked up heaps of comments from enamoured shoppers. One said: "Wow what a dress".
