River Island is selling a pair of sandals that look almost identical to a luxurious £1.5k Chanel pair.
The clothing retailer is known for its vast selection of dupes that can save shoppers some serious cash. From Balenciaga dupes to Bottega Veneta, there's plenty to choose from.
With the summer sunshine finally here to stay, chunky sandals can be a comfortable footwear choice for many. They can be a bold statement piece to wear with a midi dress, skirt, or even trousers.

The iconic Chanel 'dad sandals' are priced at a whopping £1,520 online. They feature a chunky sole with gold detailing on the front.
Similar to Birkenstocks with an open toe and two double straps, the Chanel sandals are black, velvet and certainly stylish. Luckily for shoppers, River Island is selling a pair that look very similar.
The River Island sandals have a wide fit just like the Chanel version, but are faux leather instead of velvet. They feature the exact same quilted design as the Chanel sandals and also has gold detailing.
Just like the Chanel sandals, the River Island version also has a sling back design and Velcro fastening. Slight differences include the golder detailing on the Chanel sandals, and the faux leather instead of velvet.
Another similar dupe could be the 'Locke' Sandals from Dune, priced at £65 down from £95. These sandals feature the same quilted design and gold detailing, with a similar Velcro back strap.
