River Island shoppers are praising a "stunning" black sequin maxi dress the retailer recently shared a photo of on Instagram.

The brand recently shared an image of a woman wearing its Black Sequin Shift Maxi Dress with a pair of gold strappy heels. The dress has a high neckline, layered hem, long sleeves and is also available in cream.

The dress, which costs £120 and is an online exclusive, has silver sequins dotted over the sheer fabric and has a bodysuit lining. River Island shared the photo with the caption: "Sitting pretty [stars emoji] @louisecooney_ #DressesToGo #ImWearingRI #Linkinbio to shop".
Thousands of shoppers 'liked' the post with many sharing their thoughts on the dress in the comments section below. One said: “Love this dress so much”.
