With the sun finally making an appearance, now’s the perfect time to update your dull winter wardrobe, and invest in some cute pieces for the summer.
Luckily, you don’t have to spend a fortune doing so either, as shoppers have discovered a secret eBay shop where River Island is selling full-price clothing for as little as £10.
Run by River Island itself, the eBay store was set up as part of the retailer's takeback scheme with Reskinned, and it sees over 700 preloved styles with huge discounts.
In the secret shop, you’ll find everything from occasion wear dresses and stylish shoes to bestselling jeans - and some items on the page are currently full price on the River Island website, but they can be yours for as little as £7.
Although the items are preloved, many are brand new/have never been worn and even come with tags.
We’ve picked out some of our favourites from the secret River Island eBay shop below.
The takeback scheme, in partnership with Reskinned, launched last year, and is now available in over 200 River Island stores. Reskinned specialises in reselling, reusing and recycling old clothes to prevent them ending up in landfill.
As part of the scheme, customers are encouraged to bring a minimum of three items, from any brand, into participating stores, or arrange a drop-off online. A £5 gift voucher will be given as a thank you which can be redeemed off a minimum £40 order at River Island stores or online.
Before being listed on the eBay store, all preloved items are hand-checked and ozone-cleansed by Reskinned using a zero water, eco-friendly cleaning process - so they're basically as good as new!
