A River City star has opened up about how grateful he is to be part of such a tight-knit group of actors and actresses, as the Scottish soap celebrates its 20 year anniversary on Monday.
Jordan Young, who plays sleekit bad guy Alex Murdoch, son of original bad boy Lenny, spoke to Glasgow Live earlier this week as they wrapped up filming for the 20 year anniversary of River City.
The star spoke about the many famous faces he has had the opportunity to work with throughout the years, and is humble about his own successes on the show.

Speaking to Glasgow Live about his first day on set, Jordan said: "I was incredibly nervous. There was a lot in the scene, in my first scene.
"It was quite dialogue-heavy, I had props, as in I had to make drinks - like, I had to make vodka colas in a short period of time during the scene. It was really 'fittery', I also even had a kiss in my first scene!
"There was a lot going on in it. I arrived at 11am for my call time, went to get my lunch at lunchtime, didn't know anybody and at that time, the canteen only took cash, and I just had my card.
"And because I didn't know anyone, I couldn't ask for loan of money, so I just didn't eat!"
However, after that early days food escapade, Jordan has made friends for life on the set of River City, and hopes to continue his work on the show for years to come.
Jordan continued: "I think I've got loads of favourite people to work with, because I've been so lucky to work with so many amazing people.
"There's been some brilliant names in the show, Alex Ferns was amazing when he was on the show. Frank [Lenny Murdoch] is an amazing actor, Dawn Steele, Annie Louise Ross, to name a few.
"I wouldn't even want to single anybody out, as it's been a fantastic cast to work with, and I'll always be grateful for my time on this wonderful show."
