Rita Ora's wedding to Taika Waititi has been confirmed after her pal and celeb hairstylist James Brown congratulated the pair.
There had been speculation that the couple had tied the knot in a secret ceremony and now the London-based stylist, 53, appears to have confirmed those rumours in his latest Instagram Story.
He shared a picture of himself alongside the 31-year-old singer and captioned it: "Congratulations Mrs Waititi Ora." He tagged the pair before added: "Love you," with a love heart emoji.
Reports broke on Monday that the Anywhere singer had said I Do to the director, 46, in an intimate ceremony in London. It's thought that Rita has already changed her name to be Mrs Waititi-Ora and the pair have also been pictured wearing gold bands on their fingers as they held hands.
The couple first started dating in March last year before going public with their relationship in August. They got engaged two months ago before quickly organising their special ceremony. It's thought they are now planning to host a huge party to celebrate their big day.
Speaking to The Sun, a source said: "It was a really intimate ceremony and super special for everyone there. Their nearest and dearest can see how madly in love they are. Despite living in the spotlight, Rita is determined to keep the relationship as private as possible and didn't want to make a big song and dance about the wedding.
"Rita's already back in the studio working on her third album, with her latest session being with Ava Max and Noah Cyrus' writer Rollo."
Rita hasn't released a studio album in four years since Phoenix, which was a follow-up to her chart-topping debut Ora in 2012. She did release an EP titled Bang last year, though.
Taika – who has two children from a previous marriage – is best known for being a writer, director and actor, with projects of his including the 2014 film titled What We Do in the Shadows.
He's also known for having been the director on two Thor films within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with the latest being this year's Thor: Love and Thunder.
