Rising TE gives Chiefs an early lead over Panthers in Week 12

The Kansas City Chiefs are out to a seven-point lead over the Carolina Panthers in Week 12 after Patrick Mahomes hit Noah Gray with a perfect touchdown pass on the defending Super Bowl champions’ first drive.

Gray scored two touchdowns in Kansas City’s Week 11 loss to the Buffalo Bills last Sunday and wasted no time getting open in Carolina’s secondary to provide Mahomes an easy target downfield.

The touchdown was set up by an outstanding return by Samaje Perine on the opening kickoff, which set the Chiefs up in an ideal field position.

Check out this video of Gray’s outstanding touchdown reception:

Kansas City won’t be able to take its foot off the gas against the Panthers, who are ready to play the spoiler and hand the Chiefs their second loss of the season.

Stay tuned to see if Mahomes will continue to look Gray’s way as this Week 12 matchup continues.
