The Prime Minister has been slapped with a fixed penalty notice by Lancashire Police after being caught riding around the county while not wearing a seatbelt.
Rishi Sunak said his failure to wear a seatbelt in the social media clip, filmed during a trip across the north of England, was an "error of judgement".
Today, January 20, a spokesman for Lancashire Police said the force was "looking into" the incident. They have now confirmed the PM has been handed a fixed penalty notice.

The said: "You will be aware that a video has been circulating on social media showing an individual failing to wear a seatbelt while a passenger in a moving car in Lancashire.
"After looking into this matter, we have today, January 20, issued a 42-year-old man from London with a conditional offer of fixed penalty."
Passengers caught riding without a seatbelt can be given an on-the-spot £100 fine, which can increase to £500 if the case goes to court.
In a statement, Downing Street said: "That was a brief error of judgement. The PM removed his seatbelt to film a small clip. He fully accepts this was a mistake and apologises about it.
"The prime minister believes everyone should wear a seatbelt."
