RISHI Sunak's campaign has been interrupted by pro-Palestine protesters as police swoop in to barricade the venue where he is supposed to deliver a speech.
The Prime Minister's visit to the West Midlands as part of his General Election campaign has been derailed as pro-Palestine protesters surrounded his car and the venue where he is to give a speech.
Police on motorbikes and on foot formed a blockade in front of the venue to prevent protesters from getting any closer to the Tory leader.
Dozens of demonstrators carrying Palestine flags and placards saying “free Palestine” can be seen in footage online rushing to the venue to protest Sunak and the UK Government.
Chants of “free Palestine” can also be heard in the same footage.

Sunak is in the West Midlands for the second day of the election campaign, as he was in Scotland the previous night where he criticised for avoiding the public.
The Prime Minister had an error-stricken first day of his election campaign as he was left red-faced while visiting Wales.
He had asked a group of workers at a brewery if “they were looking forward to all the football” – the bewildered group were quick to point out that Wales had not qualified for the Euros.
On the same day, he was also accused of planting a Troy councilor in the audience of warehouse workers as he singled him out to ask a question.
