Riot Rehab Bus rolls into Glastonbury Festival helping people to give up smoking

Glastonbury-goers wanting to quit smoking have been offered help from a unique Riot Rehab bus as it rolled up at the iconic music festival.

The somewhat unlikely festival hook-up has seen e-cigarette producer pull Riot Labs, drive its double deck 'tour bus' to the heart of the action.

The festival has now become the largest green space open air festival in the world, attracting more than 200,000 festival goers looking to let off steam and enjoy global music stars.

Visitors could get their hands on Riot Labs products including a range of e-liquids and their latest disposable e-cigarette - Riot Bar - and speak to Riot Labs trained quit-smoking professionals about the R.I.O.T 4-Step quit-smoking plan.

Ben Johnson, Founder and CEO of Riot Labs, said: "The days of dull quit smoking campaigns are over. We wanted to create the Riot Rehab Bus and send it into the heart of the action, at festivals, where smokers are surrounded by the sort of triggers that make you light up.

"The Riot Rehab Bus has got a huge reaction as the festivals we've parked up at so far this summer, and it doesn't get much bigger than arriving at Glastonbury this weekend where we're expecting to help thousands kick-start their quit smoking journey."

Just last week, the Government released plans to make the UK smoke-free by 2030, and e-cigarettes received backing from the NHS as an important tool to help people quit.

The Riot Rehab bus has already hit the road on its summer festival circuit - as a vital component to help making the UK smoke free.

The Riot Rehab Bus has appeared at Cambridge Club, Strawberries & Creem - and after signing-off at Glasto next week it will park up at Henley Regatta.

And to help those struggling Riot Lab have offered up this acronym with advice to follow:

1. “R” - Rip up the rule book

Be fearless and forget everything you’ve ever heard about quitting smoking. Go at your own pace and on your own terms.

2. “I” - Identify your triggers.

What makes you want to smoke a cigarette? Be brave and face your triggers head on. If you can get through them without smoking, you can get through anything

3. “O” - Only smoke if you need to.

Cut your cigarette intake and use your Riot Bar whenever you aren’t able to smoke. Without realising, your cigarette intake will reduce to next to nothing – or, even better, stop completely.

4. “T” - The Rest is Easy.

Once you’ve succeeded in facing your triggers smoke-free and reduced your cigarette intake you’ll find the rest is easy. It’s by no means over, but the hard part is out the way, and you’re on your quitting journey. Go celebrate, treat yourself, try something new or do something you wouldn’t have done before.

To mark Riot Labs appearance at Glasto, the producer is also offering 30% off their hero disposable e-cigarette - Riot Bar. You can use discount code GLASTO on rioteliquid.com
