Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has urged PSG star Kylian Mbappe to join the Reds if he wishes to complete his goal of winning the Champions League.
Mbappe's future in the French capital has been a big talking point in world football for the past couple of years. It was rumoured at the beginning of this season that Real Madrid wanted to bring the 24-year-old to La Liga.
However, in a surprise move, Mbappe opted to sign a new contract until 2025. While PSG would have hoped this would quieten speculation, the conversation was fueled again following the Ligue 1 club's defeat in the Champions League round of 16 to Bayern Munich.

Speaking after the match, the French talent claimed he was still very happy at PSG irrespective of their success in Europe. But, Ferdinand believes he would be able to achieve more at Old Trafford.
He told BT Sport: "He’s the most devastating player to watch on the planet right now. I love watching him.
"I think to go to the next level, he needs to go to a more competitive league. I think as much as he’s been great for PSG and they’ve been great for him, he’s won the World Cup and now he’ll want to win the Champions League and I don’t see that happening there.
"[He should move to] Man United. The Premier League is the best, most entertaining league in the world, the most competitive league in the world 100%.
"I’d love to see him come here – but nowhere else but Man United if he comes to England." When asked if he would choose Mbappe signing over Spurs captain Harry Kane, who is of interest to Erik ten Hag, Ferdinand responded: "Oh 100 per cent Mbappe.
"I think even Kane would say Mbappe as well. He’s young, he’s beginning to get towards his peak years.
"He’s not even there yet and he’s already scored more than 200 goals for PSG, won a World Cup and been top scorer at a World Cup."
