Rio Ferdinand and Owen Hargreaves explain why Jude Bellingham could be on the move this summer amid links with Liverpool.
The Reds continue to be linked with a move for the Borussia Dortmund midfielder ahead of the summer transfer window. As well as Liverpool, the likes of Manchester City, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Manchester United have also been credited with an interest in signing Bellingham.
Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp are well known to be admirers of Bellingham, but it remains to be seen whether or not the club will make a move this summer. It’s expected that Dortmund would demand a fee in excess of £100 million for the 19-year-old.

Bellingham was in action for Dortmund on Tuesday night against Chelsea in the Champions League. Ferdinand and Hargreaves explained why they think the midfielder will be on the move this summer.
Ferdinand told BT Sport: “I don’t think it’s about wanting to keep hold of him, they’ve got a business model where a player becomes a certain stature and a certain value and they’re very open and happy to sell.
“I think he’s probably at that stage by the end of this season and they do it every other season - they’ve done it with Haaland, they’ve done it with Aubameyang, Dembele - numerous players over the years.”
Hargreaves was in agreement, and used his own experience of playing with Bayern Munich as to why he thinks Bellingham will leave Dortmund this summer.
“Jude will do the exact same [leave the Bundesliga], he will want to test himself with the big hitters and he will want to win a Champions League,” said Hargreaves.
“Look, Dortmund get there, they get into the knockout stages, but he is up there with some of the best players and he will want to win a Champions League trophy.”
