Rio Ferdinand has issued his concerns over Manchester United's recent form that could serve as a boost to Liverpool's top-four hopes.
Erik ten Hag's side were beaten for the second time in four days against West Ham on Sunday evening, with Said Benrahma's first-half strike proving pivotal.
United also lost against Brighton after Liverpool transfer target Alexis Mac Allister netted a 99th-minute winner.

Newcastle United, who are currently third in the table, also slipped up at home to Arsenal this weekend and Jurgen Klopp's side now have a perfect chance to capitalise in the fixtures that remain.
Ferdinand issued his own worries over his former employer, with United having played more games than any other English side due to their successful involvement in cup competitions this season.
“I think it could be a combination of things," said Ferdinand, speaking on BT Sport. "It could be mindset, fatigue, squad depth, but whatever it is they’ve got to get it right and get it out of their system.
"The problem you have with stats like that is they creep into the dressing room and you get to later stages in games, it’s tight and you see a nervousness creep into that team. Man United have got to stay away from that.”
