Rio Ferdinand has praised Manchester United for "not rolling over" like they might previously have done after Arsenal's equaliser at Old Trafford on Sunday.
A debut goal from new signing Antony combined with two second-half goals from Marcus Rashford saw United put Arsenal to the sword. Erik ten Hag would have been delighted with the result, as his side took full advantage of the North London club's defensive frailties.
Things could have got off to a tumultuous start on Sunday afternoon when Gabriel Martinelli slotted the ball past David de Gea after just 12 minutes. However, referee Paul Tierney was eventually called over to the monitor as VAR intervened to show that Martin Odegaard had fouled Christian Eriksen in the build-up.

Antony scored in the 35th minute to get his debut off to a dream start as pandemonium swept through Old Trafford. Arsenal did hit back on the hour mark through Bukayo Saka, but the two sides were only level for six minutes as Rashford soon restored United's lead.
The 24-year-old went on to score his second goal of the game to make it 3-1 just nine minutes later, as United recorded their fourth Premier League victory in a row.
Ferdinand shared his thoughts on the win on his YouTube channel, as he admitted that although the Gunners played the better football on the day, the way that United managed to win was hugely impressive.
Ferdinand said: "It wasn't the best performance. I have to say Arsenal were the better footballing team on the day. You have to say that after the first 10/15 minutes in a game where united - you [co-host Stephen Howsen] were texting in the group saying, 'Oh, we look like we're in control' - totally agree, but after that point, they are the most dangerous team.
"They were a team that controlled most parts of the game. And we looked like a team that was just sitting there thinking, 'Okay, we'll just stick in it, stay in it'.
"But Man United of old would have folded at that point. That's the element that I'm really liking about this United team at the moment, they go through phases in a game where they're on the back-foot, but they roll their sleeves up and they don't roll over and they stay in it.
"They know they've got players who can actually be decisive at the other end and are now gaining confidence."
