Rio Ferdinand fires warning to Arsenal fans over Gabriel Jesus

Rio Ferdinand has sent Arsenal fans are warning over Gabriel Jesus's start to the season.

The £45million summer signing has scored two goals and laid on three assists in his opening four games, helping the Gunners to a 100 per cent start to the campaign.

Ferdinand has been impressed by how well Jesus has settled in with his new team, but feels Arsenal fans are getting carried away compared to how his defacto replacement at Manchester City, in Erling Haaland, has blown the league away.

Speaking on his Vibe with Five podcast, the Manchester United legend said: "I think that Jesus’s impact has been unreal.

"I think that he has been a fantastic signing, an absolute major signing for Arsenal, but please don’t go overboard like all Arsenal fans do.

"When you have got [Erling] Haaland banging in a hat-trick at the weekend and you are going, ‘Oh, Jesus is overshadowing him still’, what are you talking about?"
