Former Manchester United and England defender Rio Ferdinand believes Nottingham Forest are still "on a knife-edge" despite victory over Liverpool.
Speaking after the match on BT Sport, Ferdinand said he was pleased for a Forest team who showed "good signs" during the game. He also warned the team not to get too carried away ahead of a difficult game against Arsenal next week.
Ferdinand spoke from his own experience at Queens Park Rangers to remind Forest that just one bad performance could derail the spike of momentum that was lit with the win against Liverpool. He believes head coach Steve Cooper and his team need to find a consistent balance if they are to have a chance of avoiding relegation.

"I do think it’ll be difficult for them (to stay up), the fact they’ve brought so many players in and build a team," he said. "We saw good signs today.
"I saw it when I was at QPR that a result like this can come along and you can get it but it’s about making that a consistent performance to get the rewards.
"This is a great result today but it’s Arsenal next week. This good work can all disintegrate with a bad performance. It’s on a knife-edge still, the good and the bad, they need to find balance in the team. Great signs today."
