Rihanna’s Super Bowl halftime performance was one for the history books, that’s for sure.
In the midst of a tightly contested Super Bowl 57 between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs, Rihanna put on a phenominal halftime show featuring her absolutely legendary discography. Among the hits Rihanna dished out, her performance also featured some really cool floating platforms that made for some awe-inspiring visuals.
Hilariously enough, those platforms — while awesome looking — reminded fans watching of a familiar video game. The popular fighting game Super Smash Bros. to be specific. While the platforms were featured throughout much of Rihanna’s set, the opening specifically is what had fans drawing the comparisons.
