Rihanna's Potential Return To Music And Touring Sparks Excitement

Rihanna Barbadian singer and businesswoman

On Friday, March 1, videos surfaced online of Rihanna performing at a pre-wedding celebration in Junagadh, India for Anant Ambani, son of billionaire Mukesh Ambani. The event, attended by high-profile guests like Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg, saw Rihanna donning a sparkling green dress and thigh-high pink boots as she entertained a crowd of 1,200 with hits like “Work” and “B—h Better Have My Money.” This marked her first performance since 2016, sparking speculation about potential future shows.

While some questioned her motives for the reported $6 to $9 million paycheck, rumors suggest Rihanna may be gearing up for more appearances, possibly including a slot at the upcoming Glastonbury Music Festival. Despite her billionaire status, the allure of a seven-figure sum for something she enjoys doing could be a driving factor.

Rihanna's last album, Anti, was released in 2016, with fans eagerly anticipating her ninth album. Reports from 2019 indicated that recording had been completed, though final touches were still in progress. Despite promises of a 2019 release, the album never materialized. A$AP Rocky recently confirmed that Rihanna is actively working on the project, hinting at a potential tour to accompany the new music.

In a previous interview, Rihanna expressed her desire to tour alongside new music, acknowledging her fans' anticipation for fresh material. With plans to deliver what her supporters have been waiting for, she aims to make a significant impact with her upcoming music and subsequent tour.
