Rihanna's boyfriend ASAP Rocky detained by police at airport in connection to 2021 shooting

Rihanna's boyfriend and baby daddy ASAP Rocky has been detained by police at LAX airport.

The 33-year-old rapper was stopped by officers in connection to a shooting which happened in November 2021, according to multiple law enforcement sources familiar with the matter.

He was arriving on a private plane from Barbados, following his recent holiday in the Caribbean with the pregnant songstress.

ASAP's attorney, Alan Jackson, confirmed that his client had been arrested, according to NBC News.

The publication reports that the rapper had been under investigation by Los Angeles Police Departments for a shooting which happened on November 6 last year, near Vista Del Mar and Selma Ave at around 10:20pm.

The shooting victim, who survived, later told police that ASAP, who was walking with two others, approached him with a handgun on the street.

The victim claimed ASAP shot at him three to four times and believed one of the bullets grazed his left hand, according to police reports.

It's claimed the shooting had not been announced to the media.

During their romantic getaway - which came after rumours he had cheated on her - they stepped out together for an evening meal.

The pregnant singer, 34, looked unbothered by the latest speculation surrounding her personal life, as she stepped out with her partner in yet another eye-catching and stylish maternity ensemble over the weekend.

RiRi's shoe designer Amina Muaddi was dragged into the rumours which floated online.

She slammed the "vile" rumours after fans started questioning her to break her silence.

Amina took to Instagram on Friday night to rubbish the claims she had been having an affair with the rapper behind her friend and collaborator's back.

Setting the record straight, Amina called the "vile" fake gossip that had plagued the internet over recent days "malicious" and expressed her respect and admiration for mum-to-be Rihanna.

"While Rih is continuing to live her serene, best dressed pregnancy life and I go back to my business - I wish everyone a beautiful Easter weekend," the Paris-based designer concluded in her statement on Friday.

Pop star Rih has been living her best pregnant life in the last few months, as she constantly impresses in incredible maternity outfits.
