Rihanna fans are convinced the pregnant singer is carrying a girl.
The pop star, 33, revealed she is expecting her first child with A$AP Rocky with a stunning Harlem photoshoot on Monday.
Walking alongside her rapper boyfriend, Rhianna showed off her baby bump by unbuttoning her pink coat to allow photographs to catch a glimpse of her growing stomach on the streets of New York.
After confirming the pregnancy via their short stroll, Rhianna and A$AP Rocky - real name Rakim Athelaston Mayers - headed back into their apartment and left the internet to react to the news.
Amongst the jokes about ex-boyfriend Drake's potential reaction, and quips about when the singer's much-delayed ninth studio album, many of Rhianna's fans discussed what they believe is a major clue about the unborn baby's gender.
"Rihanna told us she's having a girl without telling us. Peep the pink," one social media user noted as the news broke on Monday.
The pink in question was the star's stunning bright pink $8,000 vintage Chanel coat, which the mum-to-be wore open to debut her baby bump to the world.
"Why do I feel like the pink coat indicates that she's having a mini her, just tell us you're having a girl Riri," another amateur detective suspected.
A third added: "I'm assuming Rihanna having a girl. That’s why the coat pink."
Elsewhere on social media, fans of Rihanna's musical endeavors debated how the star's pregnancy will impact the release of her long-anticipated new album.
The Rude Boy singer's last album offering, Anti, was back in 2016, but since then, has focused her attention on her Fenty beauty and fashion ranges.
As it was revealed the star was pregnant, many give up on their hopes of getting another album from Rihanna any time soon - with one tweeting: "rihanna releasing a baby before new music????"
Another moaned: "Rihanna really doing everything to avoid making new music."
"Congrats to A$AP Rocky & Rihanna but just know we not getting any new music from either of them until that child reach at least high school age," a third added.
Some fans were more hopeful about Rihanna returning to music once again - with some even suggesting she could write her ninth album while carrying her first child.
"Everyone saying we’re never getting new music — Lauryn Hill was pregnant with her first child when she wrote The Miseducation!!!" Zara Rahim began a tweet on Monday.
"She famously said 'when some women are pregnant, their hair and their nails grow, but for me it was my mind and ability to create' I’m choosing HOPE!!!"
Another positive fan agreed, writing: "If The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill was inspired by a pregnancy can we expect the same thing from #Rihanna."
