Rihanna has shared a teaser hyping fans for her upcoming Super Bowl Halftime show performance.
Her highly anticipated show will take place on February 12 at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona for Super Bowl LVII.
It will mark the star’s return to live performing following a five-year hiatus.
On Friday the 34-year-old superstar took to social media to give fans a taste of what to expect.
In the short clip, someone is heard saying: “We’ve waited for you!”. Another voice states that it has been over 2,000 days since her last live performance.
While a third says: “RiRi, where have you been?!” The clip then shows the star dancing before another voice then says over footage of Rihanna dancing, before she puts her fingers to her lips and a song begins to play.
The singer was offered the chance to headline the 2019 Halftime Show, but turned the offer down to show solidarity with former NFL player Colin Kaepernic, who was sacked after he knelt before a game in protest against police brutality in 2016.
Rihanna hasn’t released an album since 2016 and hasn’t had a major live performance since her appearance at the 2018 Grammy Awards.

“I can’t believe I even said yes,” she told ET of finally agreeing to do the Super Bowl last year. “It was one of those things that even when I announced it, I was like, ‘OK, I can’t take it back. Now, it’s, like, final’.
“The Super Bowl is one of the biggest stages in the world, it’s an entertainer’s dream to be on a stage like that.
“But it’s nerve-racking. You want to get it right. You know, everybody’s watching. And they’re rooting for you. And I want to get it right.”
Last year’s Halftime Show was headlined by rapper Dr. Dre with special guest performers Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent and Mary J. Blige.
