Rigid Industries Has Some Dope-Looking New Light Bars For UTVs

The fun doesn't stop when the night returns. At least not the fun I have with my family's Can-Am Maverick X3. Despite the lack of light from the sun, we still head out into the field and woods for nighttime rips or return home after a day's worth of backcountry fun, hikes, fishing, and hunts.

I still recall my return home from the night I shot my deer and the inky blackness that enveloped both the side-by-side and my brain...

But having the right lighting can help pierce through the veil and both make your night runs safer and more enjoyable, and I've loved my time with KC's new Gravity Titans. Yet, there's always room for someone to come along and make something equal or better than what you have. And Rigid Industries' new 360-Connect LED light bars look like just the thing to take my light setup to the next level.

Rigid's new 360-Connect builds on the brand's 360-Series and offers off-roaders a pre-assembled bar that can be adjusted to the user's specifications to better adapt to their application. This includes both size and shape, as the bar can bend to form a more spread-out pattern. The LEDs themselves consist of 4-inch round units and can be had in lengths of 30 inches, 40 inches, and 50 inches, and also include Rigid's RGBW back-light system, too.

Each individual pod casts 3,060 lumens and is housed in aluminum, with the 50-inch setup offering a total of 10 pods for a whopping 30,000-plus lumen effect. Let there be light, indeed.

According to Rigid, the RGBW backlighting offers customers the ability to tailor their backlights to whatever suits their mood or rig, with the ability to switch from white, red, blue, green, purple, orange, and light blue. Everything is also IP68-rated for both dust and water ingress, and the pods have a "hight-impact" polycarbonate lens with a "pressure-equalizing" vent to ensure they stay illuminating the night even in the toughest conditions. Obviously, mounting hardware is included, too.

Now let's talk price.

Rigid's new 360-Connect LED light bars aren't cheap, but neither are they anything that's comparatively expensive when you look at the class it plays in. For the 30-inch bar, you're looking at $1,599, while the 40-inch and 50-inch will set you back $1,999 and $2,399 respectively. That's on par with everyone else in the industry.

But what do I, a conniseur of off-road lights, think? Well, these really look pretty dope, to be honest. They look built tough and could likely handle all the rigors we get up to with our Can-Am. I'm whatever on the RGBW backlighting, but I understand the appeal given I grew up in the age of underglow. And for the folks who are doing more night running or long days that bleed into the night, these could very well be huge benefits to your stock lighting.
