Nottingham Forest are being tipped to make a permanent move for Sheffield United defender Max Lowe this summer - but Blades fans are split on whether their club should sell him.
Lowe is currently on loan at the City Ground and is hoping to aid the Reds as they look to push for a return to the Premier League.
But Blades boss Paul Heckingbottom will have a decision to make in the summer once Lowe returns to South Yorkshire, given that he already has Enda Stevens and Rhys Norrington-Davies battling for the left-back spot.
As such, it is likely that one player will be sold and according to the Sheffield Star, the Blades are expecting Forest to make an offer at the end of the season.
However, Blades fans have been discussing whether they should keep the former Derby man or sell him to the Reds and here's what they had to say on Twitter.
Fulwood Blade: "We shouldn't stand in his way. Sadly, circumstances worked against him in what was a difficult time for United with CW departing. What we shouldn't do is let Forest steal him for peanuts as he has shown this season what a decent player he is."
Freddy the Fud: "Forest fans are currently frothing over the right-back on loan from Boro, Djed Spence, who's likely to go for a huge cash in the summer. Max Lowe is the best performing left-back in the Championship this season so we're talking easy £5m+! Should've been recalled when we had chance!"
John Blade: "I'd keep Lowe and let Stevens go."
Gaming Blade: "He is better than both RND and Enda. Lowe should be with us. Enda is a waste of a contract. Hasn't been good for 2 years and cant get fit."
Brian Farnett: "Should have recalled him in January. Ridiculous really, he's performing well for a play-off rival and we're struggling at LB."
Steve: "Keep him! Enda is on the decline and lowe is better than RND atm."
DAHSUFC: "They're saying 30m for Spence so we want at least 15m for him if that's case."
