Ricky Gervais is bringing his world-famous Armageddon tour to Bristol later this year. The Office star will be heading to our city for two huge performances at Bristol Beacon in December.
Fans who want to see the funnyman will have to move fast as some of his dates at other venues have already sold out.
After visiting York, Gervias tweeted: "Thanks to the amazing Armageddon audience tonight in York. Might be my favourite gig so far for this tour. Loved visiting the railway museum too. In fact, I think I like just about everything here. Maybe I'd lose some of the rain. Still, see you soon."

Reviewers from the show say it pushes the boundaries further than his Netflix special SuperNature. This show sparked a huge backlash after his comments about transgender people. Gervais dedicated a significant chunk of the show commenting on the trans community, joking that ‘old-fashioned women’ are ‘the ones with wombs’ and that he’s transitioning to become ‘Vicky Gervais’.
Gervais defended the programme, saying he wanted to take the "audience to a place it hasn't been before". He told BBC One's The One Show: "I think that's what comedy is for, really - to get us through stuff, and I deal in taboo subjects because I want to take the audience to a place it hasn't been before, even for a split second."

His hit series The Office is the most successful British comedy of all time, shown in more than 90 countries with seven remakes."
