Ricky Gervais has announced the first dates of his stand-up tour Mortality, which will begin next month.
The comedian and actor has listed dates that span the length of the country – but has not yet confirmed if there will be a show in London.
His publicist has said that further dates could be added, and that European and North American legs may also be on the way.
It’s expected that Mortality, a show that plays with concepts of life and death, will fill his diary until the end of 2025.
"We're all gonna die. May as well have a laugh about it,” a statement from Gervais offered.
“Mortality looks at the absurdities of life. And death. Bring it on."
Tickets go on sale from 10am on Friday and Gervais has hinted that there is more to come for fans.
He tweeted: “These are only the first few cities on the UK leg of the #Mortality tour but it’s a start.”
Gervais then responded to tweets from fans to say there would be shows for Ireland.
