It’s been A WHILE since Rickie Fowler has won on the PGA Tour.
Specifically, it’s been 1,610 days — he last won the 2019 Phoenix Open in February of that year.
So you’ll pardon him if he wanted to take a moment after winning the 2023 Rocket Mortgage Classic — in a playoff after defeating Adam Hadwin and Colin Morikawa — and soak it all in.
After sinking a putt that followed one heck of a shot to set it up, Fowler stood there, looked up at the sky, sighed and … just stood there. It was so good.
This is simply the best, and everyone’s so happy to see him back as a winner:
A champion once again 🏆
