Rickie Fowler Goes From Camouflaged to Fully Disappeared

Rickie Fowler has withdrawn from the WM Phoenix Open prior to his second-round tee time.

Fowler was arguably the most talked about player during the first round of the WM Phoenix Open at TPC Scottsdale on Thursday. Unfortunately for Fowler, it wasn't for his strong play. The former champion of the event stumbled to an opening round 74 (+3), 10 shots off the lead.

Although the scorecard was nothing special, the outfit certainly was. Fowler wore both a camouflage shirt and pants along with his signature shades.

The outrageous garb led to countless jokes on social media.

TPC Scottsdale has been one of Fowler's tracks over the year and he won the event in 2019.

The Friday broadcast cited an illness for the 36-year-old as his reason from withdrawing and it may explain the poor round on Thursday, adding that he had a 103-degree fever and flu-like symptoms.
