Richarlison to Tottenham transfer: Fabio Paratici's stance, Chelsea snub, Arsenal message

Tottenham will look to add to Antonio Conte's attacking numbers this summer, especially after Steven Bergwijn publicly admitted that he wants to leave the club in search of regular football.

With Spurs looking for up to six new players in a variety of positions, Fabio Paratici has been casting his net wide across the world and nearer to home in the English game, speaking to various players' representatives in order to find the perfect additions for Conte's squad to take on the Premier League and Champions League next season.

One of the names said to be on their transfer wish list is Richarlison. The Everton forward has been linked to a host of clubs, including Spurs' London rivals Arsenal and Chelsea. With that in mind, football.london has rounded-up all the latest news and rumours surrounding his future.

Paratici's stance

Tottenham continue to be linked with a move for Everton attacker Richarlison and he is a player that Spurs' managing director of football Paratici is a fan of, football.london understands.

The indications within Spurs are that nothing is happening right now with regard to making a move for the Everton attacker, but if they decide to firm up their interest into something more concrete as the window progresses the circumstances this summer could lend themselves towards such a move.

Chelsea stance

A report from The Sun has claimed that the Brazilian wants to leave Everton this summer, with Chelsea, Real Madrid and PSG reportedly his preferred destinations.

However, Richarlison has since dismissed the report as he took to Twitter to say: "Crazy who trusts these sources." The 25-year-old is clearly unhappy about rumours being spread about him, but it doesn’t mean he won’t be leaving the club in the summer.

Arsenal message

Brazil legend Rivaldo thinks that Richarlison should move to Arsenal rather than Spurs. He told Betfair: "This could be a big summer for Richarlison and his compatriot Edu, who is the technical director at Arsenal, could be crucial in a potential move to the Gunners.

"He looks set to leave Everton, with several big clubs interested, and Arsenal looks a good option for the forward.

"The Gunners have Edu as their director and, after working with Tite until 2019, the ex-Arsenal midfielder knows Richarlison very well from the Brazilian national team.

"Joining a club that fights near the top of the Premier League could be important for Richarlison, after a tough season with Everton, in which he was crucial to saving the club from relegation.

"If he gets a big move, he will have a better chance of becoming a first choice forward for Brazil at the World Cup in Qatar."

Spurs interest

As per The Athletic, Tottenham are interested in signing Richarlison. There's been no formal bid yet and Spurs will only do so at the right price. They are also monitoring other targets.

Everton want more than reported €60million (£51million) but their need for funds is likely to reduce the fee. Those close to the Toffees think that a move to Spurs will happen.
