Ex-Arsenal defender Martin Keown has slammed Richarlison for his reaction to Aaron Ramsdale celebrating the North London Derby victory on Sunday. The former Sheffield United keeper was given Man of the Match for a string of saves to deny Tottenham in the second half as Antonio Conte's side were beaten for the second time this season by their fierce rivals.
Ramsdale denied Spurs in key situations several times to extend the Gunners' lead at the top of the table to eight points whilst Conte suffered another blow in the race for the top four. The talking point from the game came after the full-time whistle though, with Ramsdale being kicked by a Tottenham fan.
The incident started after the England keeper turned to celebrate in front of the remaining Tottenham fans who had been giving him stick throughout, only for Richarlison to take issue with his reaction. The Brazilian went over and gave Ramsdale a talking to, pulling his shirt and pushing him in anger.

Players were quick to separate the pair as a brawl broke out, though non-violent. As Ramsdale broke away to get his water bottle from behind the goal a fan kicked him before running off into the crowd.
Keown has pointed towards Richarlison as the architect of the bad manor at the end of the game though, saying, "You look at Richarlison at the World Cup, the samba, the dancing and all the rest. You look at the way Brazil behaved after they scored their goals and all he's [Aaron Ramsdale] has done is point to his badge and Richarlison has gone off the deep end.
"Is he for real, Richarlison? I don't believe that Ramsdale did anything wrong, particularly in that celebration. Getting barracked by the fans, most of the Tottenham fans had gone at that stage, they're already exiting the stadium. I don't think he's gone too far."
The £50m summer signing has since apologised to Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Maghalaes after refusing to shake their hands at the end of the game but fell short of saying sorry to Ramsdale. He said, “What I really didn’t like was their goalkeeper. He was celebrating in front of our fans, that’s a disrespect to our fans. He should have celebrated with their fans.”
