Richarlison shares frustration over Tottenham Hotspur spell as Everton 'joined in race' for forward

Your morning Everton headlines on Thursday, March 9.

Richarlison blasts Antonio Conte and admits time at Tottenham has been 's***' since Everton move

Richarlison has criticised Tottenham Hotspur head coach Antonio Conte after they were dumped out of the Champions League by AC Milan in timid fashion.

Conte's side failed to reach the quarter-finals of Europe's top club competition after playing out a goalless draw with Milan in north London on Wednesday night - following a 1-0 first-leg defeat at the San Siro - and the former Everton striker was not happy at his starting place on the bench.

Richarlison was used for just the final 20 minutes of the match and afterwards he expressed his frustration with his situation and his under-pressure manager, who has admitted that his future is on the line.

Richarlison completed a £60m move to Tottenham in the summer from Everton but he yet to score for his new team in the Premier League, with his two goals in his 25 appearances - 13 of which have come from the bench - both coming in one Champions League game.

Everton 'facing competition' from Bundesliga duo' in race to sign 21-goal Championship striker

Everton will reportedly make their move for Chuba Akpom this summer, having been linked with the Middlesbrough striker during the January transfer window.

The Blues were left scrambling for attacking players two months ago but failed to get any deals over the line, leaving Sean Dyche to utilise his current options available at the club.

Akpom was among the individuals suggested as a potential option, though a move failed to materialise for the former Arsenal youngster. The 27-year-old has enjoyed a season to remember in the second tier, helping Boro into play-off contention by scoring 21 times in 28 league appearances and is set to be in demand at the end of the season.

A latest report by allnigeriasoccer has stated Bundesliga duo Borussia Monchengladbach and Werder Bremen have joined the race to recruit the Championship top scorer, which will see them face competition from Everton, Southampton and Crystal Palace.
