Tottenham continue to be linked with a move for Everton attacker Richarlison and he is a player that Spurs' managing director of football Fabio Paratici is a fan of, football.london understands.
Tottenham are expecting to add to Antonio Conte's attacking numbers this summer, with Steven Bergwijn admitting publicly that he wants to leave the club in search of regular football and Ajax desperate to bring him back to the Netherlands. With Spurs looking for up to six new players in a variety of positions, Paratici has been casting his net wide across the world and nearer to home in the English game, speaking to various players' representatives in order to find the perfect additions for Conte's squad to take on the Premier League and Champions League next season.
Paratici is understood to be a fan of Richarlison and the 25-year-old Brazilian has been a player of interest to Tottenham as well in previous windows but was not seen then as a priority. The indications within Spurs are that nothing is happening right now with regard to making a move for the Everton attacker, but if they decide to firm up their interest into something more concrete as the window progresses the circumstances this summer could lend themselves towards such a move.

Among the attacking positions Paratici is looking for new faces in are a winger to replace Bergwijn and a striker to provide support and back-up to Harry Kane next season. Richarlison can play anywhere across the front three and in a season in which Everton struggled at the bottom of the table, he still scored 10 goals and provided five assists in his 30 Premier League matches. He was also often used up front during Dominic Calvert-Lewin's absence from the Everton side.
The Brazil international now has only two years left on his contract with the Toffees and he is represented by CAA Base, an agency with close links to Tottenham and a long-standing relationship with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy. The agency also brokered Dele Alli's move to Everton in January and represent the Toffees' boss Frank Lampard.
The other strand to the story is Harry Winks. football.london understands that Everton attempted to bring the Spurs midfielder to Goodison Park during the January transfer window, both before and after Lampard's late arrival that month with the new manager understood to be an admirer of the England international. Conte however was not keen on losing Winks at that point with Tottenham's midfield options thin on the ground.
This summer Winks is expected to move on in search of regular football ahead of the World Cup with Spurs preparing to sign a new central midfielder. If Everton, as expected, rekindle their interest in Winks then there is the possibility that the Toffees could end up eventually paying out money to Spurs for both the 26-year-old and Alli.
The latter joined Everton on a free transfer in January but with add-ons included, understood to include one which will see them having to pay a fee to Tottenham if he starts 20 games before the end of next season. So far the 26-year-old has started just one match for his new side, on the final day of the season in the heavy defeat at Arsenal.
Everton are expected to attach a big price tag on Richarlison, despite his depleting contract, but their current and potential future deals with Spurs could help the north London club in any negotiations in that regard.
The attacker has been in fine form for Brazil, scoring four goals in his past four international matches and an assist. However, Tottenham would have to decide whether his reported £50m-plus transfer fee would be good value for a player who would be a rotation option, at least to begin with, rather than pushing out Son Heung-min, Kane or Dejan Kulusevski any time soon.
