Ranvir Singh appeared lost for words after Richard Madeley made an 'exceptionally big' remark as she appeared on Good Morning Britain. The presenter is currently filling in for Lorraine Kelly on the Scottish TV star's self-titled ITV show.
But the gig means that former Strictly Come Dancing contestant Ranvir also has to make a daily appearance on GMB, where she is usually found reading the news headlines or filling in for Susanna Reid, to tease what is coming up on the hour-long chat show.
And during Monday's crossover, the ITV news programme's host Kate Garraway couldn't help but mention her co-star's changed look. Ranvir, 45, debuted her new locks after adding a choppy fringe to her dark tresses which sit just below her shoulders. "Can I just have a brief moment to talk fringe?" Kate asked as Ranvir posed and accentuated her changed locks.
"I love it, I'm jealous of it, I want to know your hairdresser and I want it for me," Kate added as Ranvir laughed. "It's slightly quicker for the hairdresser... I had so much hair before now it's a quicker do," Ranvir said. "Thank you for mentioning that," she added as Kate replied: "You look fab," before moving on with the show.
And it appears Kate, 55, was still fixated on Ranvir's new do as she mentioned it again on Tuesday's show (April 4). "So Ranvir is here at 9 o'clock. With fringe. Still looking fabulous," the TV and radio star said.
Laughing as she patted down her locks which had plenty of added volume for her latest TV appearance, Ranvir replied: "As you can tell I've had a really big blow dry today." She then quipped: "Kate, I've got your hairdresser today!" to which her fellow ITV star replied: "It looks like you've got half my hair in there as well."
She then exclaimed: "It can never be too big. Closer to god." Richard had remained quite as the girls gushed over one another but he did decide to get involved and remarked: "That really is big hair," before adding: "It's exceptionally big." The comment appeared to leave Ranvir speechless as she laughed before adding: "It's getting its own agent!"
Ranvir took to Instagram after her first TV stint of the week to show off her hair's transformation process. In the TikTok video, which she also posted to Instagram, she could be seen sitting in the hairdressing salon with her long dark locks still intact. She was then all smiles as the video switched to show off her makeover.
"Back to the bangs courtesy of the clever hands-on magic of @lucajoneshair @kitchhair and @simplyhairuk," Ranvir typed on Instagram. "Ready for spring. Just need the [sun] now!" She also added 'time for change' as part of a hashtag before the compliments came flooding in.
