Richard Madeley appeared to be the doting grandfather as he spent Boxing Day with his new granddaughter. The Good Morning Britain presenter and his wife Judy Finnegan joined their daughter Chloe Madeley and her husband James Haskell for a festive lunch out together on Monday afternoon.
Chloe, 35, also spent the big day itself with her parents as she and James marked daughter Bodhi's first Chritmas. The couple welcomed their first child into the world in August after a difficult eight-hour induced labour for Chloe ended in a C-section. Welcoming their baby girl was the moment the new parents feared would never happen after two years of trying to conceive.
And now Chloe and James, 37, got to spend their first festive season with their little one and their families. Sharing a string of pictures and videos of the special day to Instagram, which also included appearances from Chloe's brother Jack and wife Isobel Walford, Chloe simply typed: "Baby Lady’s first Christmas."
They showed the family relaxing at home with Bodhi and Jack and Issy's son, Kit. They appeared to snuggle down to watch the classic The Snowman on the TV before James was seen helping Kit with saw Star Wars Lego.
Then on Boxing Day, Richard, Judy, Chloe and James got all glammed up and headed out for a fancy lunch. In a series of snaps posted on Instagram, Chloe, who was donning a black mini dress and over-the-knee boots, could be seen as she held her daughter who was donning her own festive-inspired outfit.
Meanwhile proud grandparents, former This Morning stars Richard, 66, and Judy, 74, stood on either side of her while a suited and booted James was grinning as he threw his arm around his mother-in-law as they posed for the sweet family snap.
Amongst the post was an adorable video of presenter Richard playing with his baby granddaughter who appeared fascinated by his face and was using her tiny hands to grab onto it. "Boxing Day with my top loves," Chloe typed alongside her post with was soon being flooded with comments.

You are looking amazing." @juliebrooke1961 added: "Oh lovely pic love Richard and Judy."
And there were a lot of specific compliments for Judy. @salfordmanda said: "Awwwww lovely, great to see Judy and she is looking fabulous." @notthatsuzanne posted: "Your mum looks absolutely fabulous." @barrell946 echoed: "Judy is looking fabulous. A happy new year to you all."
Richard's family Christmas comes after he triggered Good Morning Britain complaints. ITV was hit with 80 complaints over Richard’s conduct while interviewing RMT union boss Mick Lynch. Viewers of the news programme were gobsmacked when Richard told Mr Lynch to 'jog on' as things got heated between the pair.
It came after the pair continually talked over each other during the live interview on GMB, with Mr Lynch telling the host: "Richard, why don’t you just interview yourself?" An Ofcom spokesperson said last week: "We are assessing the complaints against our broadcasting rules, but are yet to decide whether or not to investigate."
