Former Sky Sports presenter Richard Keys has accused the Beckham family of having a lack of class and described eldest son's Brooklyn's upcoming wedding ceremony as "unacceptable".
The entire Beckham family are currently in Miami preparing for the celebrations set to take place over the course of this weekend. However, Keys has taken issue with the wedding going ahead amid the current climate of political tension and global suffering.
Taking to Twitter to voice his annoyance with the ceremony, Keys wrote: "Is it only me or does anyone else find the Beckham wedding plans totally unacceptable when there’s so much misery happening elsewhere in the world? A little class wouldn’t go amiss."
Within the tweet Keys had inserted a Ukraine emoji to clearly reference the nation suffering at the hands of Russia after Russian president Vladimir Putin made the decision to invade the country at the end of February. It has triggered untold pain and mass loss of life and continues to rage on with little sign of stopping.
Beckham has been engaged to Peltz, four years his senior at 27, since July 2020. Peltz starred in Transformers 4: Age of Extinction and is the daughter of American billionaire investor Nelson Peltz and former model Claudia Heffner Peltz.
The wedding will take place at the bride's family estate in Palm Beach, reportedly worth a whopping £76million and spans a staggering 44,000 square feet. The cost of the ceremony is rumoured to be around £3m.

As expected, a number of A-list celebrities are on the guest list - the majority of whom are friends of Brooklyn's footballing icon father David or former pop star mother Victoria. Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, actor Eva Longoria, model Gigi Hadid and rapper Snoop Dogg are all expected to be in attendance alongside Victoria's former Spice Girl bandmates Melanie Brown (Mel B), Melanie Chisholm (Mel C), Emma Bunton and Geri Horner.
As a result of the wedding, dad David will miss his Inter Miami side's home clash with New England. David is the owner and founder of the club, who currently sit rock bottom of the Eastern Conference after five games played - none of which have resulted in a victory.
The second oldest Beckham child Romeo currently plays for Inter Miami's reserves, but is yet to break into the first team on a regular basis. The 19-year-old has featured for the senior side in a non-competitive pre-season fixture earlier this year.
