Ireland's Rhys McClenaghan has won gold in the pommel horse event at the European Gymnastics Championships in Turkey on Saturday morning.
McClenaghan clocked a score of 14.666 in the final round of the event to take home the gold medal ahead of Armenian Maxime Gentges, who finished just behind with a score of 14.566
The County Down star was one of the hot favourites coming into the final having qualified in top-spot with a stunning score of 14.966 earlier in the week.
This morning's victory means McClenaghan is now a two-time European gold medalist having taken home gold at the 2018 championship in Glasgow.
It's another remarkable feat for the 23-year-old, who is now the reigning World and European Champion in the pommel horse and will be one of the favourites for next year's Olympic Games.
