I think it’s fair to say that the Married At First Sight (MAFS) cast this season has been incredibly rogue. Instead of following along with the tried and true tradition of cast members staying quiet on social media and only talking through approved media interviews, many brides and grooms have been dishing the dirt left, right and centre.
But not all the MAFS contestants are happy about their fellow cast members spilling the tea — especially not golden couple Rhi Disljenkovic and Jeff Gobbells.

“I found that people going rogue was pretty disappointing,” Jeff told PEDESTRIAN.TV.
“They’ve given away, like, the storyline of other castmates. It’s not their right to do that. But also, I feel like the people who have gone rogue, and they’re speaking about the edit, that’s just them basically not happy with how they look on camera, and how the Australian public has received them.
“Unfortunately, the edit is the edit. I haven’t seen one edit of someone where I’m like, ‘I disagree with that’. Most of the edits are absolutely spot on. They’re just not happy with seeing it.”
Rhi agreed with what Jeff had to say.
“I think a lot of cast members can agree to that as well,” she chimed in.

The pair did concede that the show is super condensed and, as a result, things get left out.
“I think the thing that can be disappointing, and it happened with us, is that a lot of context gets left out, and you can’t squeeze everything into an episode,” Jeff said.
“For us as a couple, we didn’t get our honeymoon shown or our reception shown at our wedding. So you know, you can see what people get a little bit annoyed by, but that’s just all part of it. Like people knew what they were signing up for.”
Earlier this week, fellow MAFS bride Jamie Marinos told PEDESTRIAN.TV that she was pretty pissed by the people dishing the goss on social media too.
“It’s been so hard keeping my mouth closed. Like, Jesus is really trying to test me. But the same time, like, I’m a professional, I’ve entered something I respect,” Jamie said.
“I respect production’s time and network time, everyone involved. I think everyone owed it not only like production [and the] network, but also like your other classmates. We’ve all given up so much time, and it’s just such a shame people ruin it all online.
“Just shut your mouth. God damn!”

Now that we’ve seen the final vows, the next dose of drama-loving MAFS goodness will be the long-awaited reunion episodes. While we’re yet to find out when the reunion episodes will air, I promise we’ll update you as soon as it’s confirmed.
You can watch MAFS on Channel Nine or 9Now.
