Ireland's Rhasidat Adeleke has broken her second National record in as many days by clocking a time of 49.90 in the 400m event at the Tom Jones Memorial Meeting in Florida.
With that time, Adeleke created another piece of history as she became the first Irish woman to ever break the 50 second barrier over 400m.
Although the scintillating time wasn't enough to win the race, with Britton Wilson taking the victory, the run solidified Adeleke's stance as the fastest Irish woman in history over this distance.

It's been a sensational weekend for the 20-year-old speedster, who smashed her own 200m record at the same meet by clocking a lightning-fast time of 22.34 on Friday.
The Tallaght star, who is competing stateside for Texas University, has now broken the 400m National record three times this year.
