RFK Jr. proposes plan to fix border crisis in interview

Robert F Kennedy looks happy.

House Republicans in Congress are expected to begin marking up articles of impeachment against Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, as the border surge continues to grow. Exclusive video footage shows migrants crossing the United States border with ease. This increasing influx of migrants has raised concerns about border security and the actions of the Biden administration.

Independent presidential candidate R.F.K. Jr. recently shared his firsthand experience of witnessing the crisis at the border. During his visit to Yuma, he observed hundreds of people crossing the border between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. In some cases, buses owned by Mexican drug cartels were bringing migrants to the border, with as many as 55 people on board. R.F.K. Jr. noted that only a small number of these individuals had legitimate asylum claims, while the majority were from Asia.

The situation at the border has caused significant demoralization among Border Patrol agents, who are struggling to handle the influx of migrants. Despite record-breaking numbers, the Biden administration has been criticized for not taking swift action to address the issue.

When asked about his plan to fix the crisis, R.F.K. Jr. emphasized the need to complete the 27 remaining gaps in the border wall. He believes that while a continuous wall along the entire border is unnecessary, physical barriers in highly populated areas are crucial to prevent migrants from easily disappearing. Additionally, R.F.K. Jr. suggested restoring torn-down fences in rural areas and implementing long-range cameras, lights, and sensor equipment.

To address the asylum process, R.F.K. Jr. called for the presence of asylum judges at the border to adjudicate cases promptly. He also proposed reinstating the Migrant Protection Act, which would require individuals with asylum claims to remain in Mexico until their cases are resolved. By implementing these measures, R.F.K. Jr. believes the flow of migrants could be halted.

R.F.K. Jr. is running as an independent candidate and has gained momentum in recent polls. Independent self-identifications are on the rise, highlighting a growing dissatisfaction with the two-party system. R.F.K. Jr. acknowledged the broken nature of the system, citing corruption and the influence of corporate funding on both major parties. Despite the challenges of securing ballot access in all 50 states, R.F.K. Jr. expressed confidence that his campaign will achieve this goal.

In conclusion, the border crisis continues to be a pressing concern, prompting House Republicans to pursue impeachment proceedings against Secretary Mayorkas. With an independent perspective and proposed solutions, R.F.K. Jr. aims to address the issues at the border and challenge the two-party system in his presidential campaign.
