Robert F. Kennedy Jr. attempted to justify his past association with Jeffrey Epstein in a resurfaced interview clip referencing other sex offenders he had met, including Harvey Weinstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.

Kennedy has previously acknowledged flying on Epstein's private plane twice, raising questions about his ties to the convicted sex offender, Huffpost previously reported.

In a resurfaced interview from March 2024 on the "Flagrant" podcast, Kennedy claimed that his interactions with Epstein were merely a byproduct of his time and life in New York, where he frequently crossed paths with high-profile individuals.

To defend himself, he began listing other disgraced figures he had met, including Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein, former Fox News chairman Roger Ailes, O.J. Simpson and Bill Cosby.

"I'm in New York for most of my life. You run into everybody in New York," he said. "I mean, I knew Harvey Weinstein. I knew Roger Ailes. I knew ― O.J. Simpson came to my house. Bill Cosby came to my house."

The recently named health secretary insisted that he was unaware of their misconduct at the time, stating, "You don't know these people are swamp creatures until all this stuff comes out."

Kennedy's comments have gained a second wave of intrigue online as the release of the Epstein files has left many conservatives disappointed over the lack of major revelations. Some users have referred to the file release as "botched," while others called for conservative leaders to make more effort.
