A Glasgow pet owner has been left in bits after her beloved parrot took off on Friday.
Worried owner Monisah Hussain noticed that exotic bird, Raja, had torn open a net and escaped form his home in Blackseyburn Drive in Crookston.
The two-year-old Green Quaker Parrot adores munching on apples and chillies when with his owner.

Monisah has put up a reward for anyone who manages to find the cheerful bird.
The upset owner said: “He is the most curious and clever bird you will ever meet and is extremely friendly. Like every domestic bird, they are not made for the outdoors and will most likely be in a state of panic.
“He could be anywhere around Hillington, Pollok Park, Hawkhead, Barrhead, Darnley, Paisley or Cardonald.
“Thankfully, the weather has been kind but I’m desperate to get him back. He’s such a funny, loving character and I’m just hoping someone will spot him and contact me on 07798588303
“He loves apples and chillies and will usually come down for some if offered.”
