Revolut issues scam warning as fraudsters use devious tricks to steal money

Revolut has issued a scam warning after fraudsters are using devious tricks to steal money from unsuspecting victims.

Scammers are contacting customers while pretending to be from the e-banking app and asking the victim to move or transfer the cash to another account.

An email from Revolut reads: "We want you to keep all your money. So, we'll never contact you asking you to move or transfer cash. Only scammers do that.

"We just want to warn you and make you aware of any fraud tactics, so you can keep all your hard-earned cash."

They added: "So, if 'Revolut' calls you, hang up on us. If 'Revolut' texts you, please ghost us."

They said the only way to contact Revolut is through their secure in-app chat.
