Dozens of clubbers were left fuming and some reduced to tears by cramped conditions at a popular north London rave over the weekend.
Revellers demanded refunds of their tickets starting at £27.50 after allegedly queuing for “hours” which made them feel “unsafe” at UKF15 hosted by Drumsheds London in Enfield.
The party space, a disused industrial warehouse, is the UK’s biggest club and has a capacity of 15,000.
Guests hoping to listen to bass scene acts such as Pendulum, Knife Party and NERO branded the night a “complete disaster” on social media.
Lucy Hickling, posted on X, formerly Twitter: “Imagine paying for a ticket to see 20 mins of an act after queuing two hours to get in, missing the act you actually travelled down to see, only to leave before the headliners started as the venue was genuinely unsafe for purpose. I want a refund.”
Antony Kennedy added: “My son and I bought tickets for this months ago and were so excited to see Knife Party, but gave up and left before people got hurt.
“You’ve done some serious damage to the reputation of the bass scene.”
@drumsheds where’s best to complain about your event on Friday? Unsafe crowd control, queued for 1.5 hours only to be told to go back to the start as my (less than A4 sized) bag too big despite passing two security staff already (I’d bought a locker) and £20 for three waters ?? pic.twitter.com/IqjjYji429

Charlie Martin said: “Glad to see I'm not alone in my disappointment with Drumsheds this weekend.
“We queued two hours to get in, in a dangerous crush, and spent about another two hours queuing for rooms or bars.
“All unhelped by petulant security and endless bottlenecks in the one-way system...”
A petition demanding “justice for attendees” and refunds has attracted nearly 1,500 signatures.
In a statement, Drumsheds London’s spokesman told MailOnline: “We are aware of the concerns raised and sincerely apologise for the frustration and discomfort caused during the event.
“Unfortunately, we faced a number of challenges on the night, including longer-than-usual queues and congestion due to a combination of factors, including enhanced security procedures.
“While these measures were necessary, we understand their impact and are conducting a thorough review.”
