Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang joined Chelsea on deadline day in a £12 million move, with the former Arsenal captain following in the footsteps of another former Gunners skipper Cesc Fabregas by making the switch to the Blues via a stint at Barcelona.
The 33-year-old striker's spell in Catalonia did not last long but was a successful one, as he scored 11 goals in 17 games following his deadline day transfer to Barca back in January after disciplinary issues led to Arsenal agreeing to a mutual termination of the Gabon striker's contract.
However, with Barcelona having secured the signing of Robert Lewandowski, first team opportunities were going to be lacking for the former Borussia Dortmund star, who will link back up with his former manager Thomas Tuchel in West London.

It is hoped that he will help the Blues re-find their goal scoring touch, with Tuchel's side having endured a difficult start to the season. However, his presence in London, where his family are established and he still has a home, could have a negative impact on Arsenal, who are expected to compete closely with Chelsea this season.
