Former Leeds United goalkeeper Elia Caprile believes he gained plenty of experience from his stint with the Whites despite it not panning out how he expected it to.
The 21-year-old joined Leeds from Chievo back in January 2020, signing what was then a three-year deal.
However, just months later, the entire face of the world changed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Caprile was a teenager forced to live in a new country all by himself, something which he has said helped him to be "able to managed any difficult moment in the future."
The Italian shot stopper departed Elland Road last summer having not made a single appearance for the Whites, moving to Serie B side Bari where he has impressed this term.
Through 17 games, Bari sit third in the Italian second division, with Caprile's good form this season even earning him a start for Italy's U21s against Japan in an international friendly.
And the former Whites goalkeeper has revealed the opportunity to move to England, while it did not work out, was at the time one he could not refuse.
"I’m aware that there are trains that pass only once," Caprile told GianlucaDiMarzio.com.
"I took the train to leave for England when I was 18, then maybe it didn’t go as I had hoped but it is an experience that has left me something.
"My name is linked to many teams but there’s nothing concrete, I’m concentrated on Bari. At least until June, the Bari fans will have to put up with me."
